Web Design & Marketing Agency in Linz

Web design and marketing that grows Linz businesses.

Linz has 214,272 residents, yet 176,692 people worked in the city at the 2021 census, 28,230 of them in manufacturing, so many Linz firms sell to other businesses at home and abroad. We build German and English websites for Linz companies and run the marketing behind them, at fixed prices in euros, with written replies within one working day.

Sound familiar?

Four reasons Austrian websites lose customers.

Each one is common, measurable and fixable. Here is what goes wrong, and exactly what we do about it.

01The problem

Your website stalls on a phone

Most people meet a new business on a small screen first. If your pages load slowly or the enquiry button hides below three screens of text, they go back to the results and contact the next firm on the list.

48% of websites passed Google's Core Web Vitals on mobile in the HTTP Archive's July 2025 crawl, so most still fall short Source: HTTP Archive Web Almanac 2025
How we fix it

A fast site designed for the phone first

  • Phone layouts designed first, then scaled up for desktop
  • Core Web Vitals targets written into your contract and tested before launch
  • A clear next step on every page: enquire, book or request a quote
02The problem

One Austrian search in nine skips Google

Austrian buyers mostly search on Google, and about one search in nine runs on Bing, which ranks sites from its own index. Miss either engine, the map results or AI answers, and a competitor takes the enquiry.

10.93% of searches in Austria ran on Bing in September 2026, with Google on 80.84% Source: StatCounter Global Stats, Austria
How we fix it

Get found on Google, Bing, Maps and AI search

  • SEO in German and English for the terms your customers really type
  • Google Business Profile and local SEO for every location you serve
  • Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools set up at launch, then Google Ads judged on real enquiries
03The problem

Your site speaks one language, your buyers two

Austrian customers expect German, while buyers, staff and guests from abroad look for English. A site that offers only one, or a machine-translated second version, quietly turns part of them away.

29.8% of Austrian firms with ten or more staff already ran their website in two or more languages in 2025 Source: Eurostat, ICT usage in enterprises (isoc_ciweb), 2025
How we fix it

German and English, both done properly

  • German pages written for Austrian readers, with Austrian terms where customers expect them
  • English pages with the same depth, not a shortened summary
  • Separate URLs and hreflang tags so Google shows each visitor the right version
04The problem

A German template breaks Austrian law

Austria has its own website rules: the Impressum under the E-Commerce-Gesetz, a media disclosure under the Mediengesetz, the BaFG for accessibility and the TKG 2021 for cookies. A legal page copied from a German site cites the wrong laws and misses the disclosure.

€80,000 maximum fine under the BaFG, which has covered online shops and other consumer e-commerce services since 28 June 2025 Source: WKO, information on the Barrierefreiheitsgesetz
How we fix it

Austrian law built in, at no extra cost

  • An Impressum for §5 ECG and an Offenlegung for §25 Mediengesetz, confirmed by you before launch
  • Tested to WCAG 2.2 AA for the BaFG, with an accessibility statement ready for review
  • A cookie banner for §165 TKG 2021 with Accept and Reject side by side
The Linz market

Steel, software and buyers abroad.

Linz has 214,272 residents, and 30.6% are foreign citizens. At the 2021 census 176,692 people worked in the city, almost as many as live there, and 28,230 of them worked in manufacturing, with voestalpine headquartered in Linz. IT and communications jobs rose 49.9% in ten years, and the Johannes Kepler University and the Tabakfabrik add a research and creative scene.

So the typical Linz buyer is an engineer or purchaser, often abroad, who compares suppliers on detail. We structure Linz sites by product and application, keep data sheets current in German and English, route each request for quote to the right person, and track every enquiry by country so you can see where demand comes from.

Straight answers

Questions Linz businesses ask.

How much does a website cost in Linz?

With us, a site of up to five pages starts at €350, a bespoke 6 to 15 page site for a Linz supplier usually lands between €650 and €850, and online shops begin at €750. For comparison, HEROLD's 2026 guide prices a 100-product Austrian shop from €7,500. Your written proposal fixes the total in euros.

Should a Linz industrial supplier lead in German or English?

Lead with the language your buyers order in. For export customers that is usually English, and Linz scores 625 on the EF English Proficiency Index, so your own team can review English pages comfortably. Domestic customers and many suppliers expect German. We build both from one set of product data.

Do you work with suppliers to voestalpine and other Linz manufacturers?

Yes. Linz is voestalpine's home and a manufacturing city, with 28,230 people in the sector at the 2021 census. We present materials, processes, certifications and capacity the way a procurement team checks them, and build quote forms that accept drawings, quantities and delivery dates.

Can you help a Linz software company sell abroad?

Yes. IT and communications jobs in Linz grew 49.9% between 2011 and 2021. We build English-first product sites with clear pricing logic, demo or trial routes and integration pages, plus German pages for Austrian customers, and track sign-ups by country.

Do you build sites for logistics and transport firms?

Yes. With the Danube port and the rail links around it, logistics is a real Linz sector. We write service pages around routes, capacities and certifications, add quote forms that capture origin, destination and volume, and keep the German and English versions in step.

What happens after launch?

You choose. Our care plan from €25 a month covers security, updates, backups and small edits, while SEO and ads run as monthly programmes priced after a free review. Either way you own the domain, code and content, so you can also take the site in-house.
