Web Design & Marketing Agency in Washington DC

Web design and marketing that grows Washington DC businesses.

Professional services and government together account for 1.44 million jobs in the Washington DC metro, so many buyers here are agencies, contractors and associations that check accessibility and privacy before anything else. We build Washington DC websites to that standard and run the SEO and ads behind them, at fixed prices in US dollars with written replies within one working day.

Sound familiar?

Four reasons US websites lose customers.

Each one is common, measurable and fixable. Here is what goes wrong, and exactly what we do about it.

01The problem

Your website loses people on their phones

Most visitors arrive on a phone. If the page is slow, cramped or confusing, they leave and call the next business on the list.

48% of websites passed Google's Core Web Vitals speed test on mobile in July 2025, so most still fail it Source: HTTP Archive Web Almanac 2025
How we fix it

A fast, modern website built for phones first

  • Designed for mobile first, then desktop
  • Built to pass Google's Core Web Vitals, with the targets written into the contract
  • A clear next step on every page: call, book or request a quote
02The problem

Customers can't find you, so they find a competitor

If you are not on the first page of Google, in the map results or in AI answers, buyers never see you, however good your work is.

45% of US consumers used ChatGPT or other AI tools for local recommendations in 2026, up from 6% a year earlier Source: BrightLocal Local Consumer Review Survey 2026
How we fix it

Get found on Google, Maps and AI search

  • SEO for the searches your buyers actually make
  • Google Business Profile and local SEO for every area you serve
  • Google Ads that appear the moment buyers search, measured on real leads
03The problem

Visitors arrive, but the inquiries don't follow

Traffic means nothing if the page doesn't persuade, the form asks too much, or nobody replies fast enough.

7x as likely to qualify a web lead when US firms tried to contact it within an hour, compared with waiting longer Source: Harvard Business Review, 2011
How we fix it

Turn more visitors into paying customers

  • Pages that answer buyer questions and show proof where doubt appears
  • Short forms that qualify leads without scaring them off
  • Instant follow-up emails and lead alerts, so no inquiry goes cold
04The problem

An inaccessible website is a legal risk

US businesses are sued over websites that disabled visitors cannot use, and the number of cases is rising.

Accessibility and privacy built in, at no extra cost

  • Tested to WCAG 2.2 AA with keyboard and screen reader before launch
  • An accessibility statement and a way for visitors to report problems
  • Privacy notice and opt-out controls set up for the CCPA and state privacy laws
The Washington DC market

A contractor economy that reads the fine print.

The Washington metro has 219,866 business establishments, and average annual pay reached $101,742 in 2025. Professional and business services employs 777,700 people and government 663,300, so much of the market sells to agencies, prime contractors and associations. Its counties also filed 114,905 new business applications in 2025, led by Prince George's and Fairfax.

We build DC sites for buyers who check before they shortlist: capability statements as clean web pages, past performance laid out by agency and contract vehicle, and NAICS codes where evaluators look for them. Every template is tested to WCAG 2.2 AA, and privacy controls are ready for Virginia's and Maryland's laws as your customer base grows.

Straight answers

Questions Washington DC businesses ask.

How much does a website cost in Washington DC?

A starter site of up to five pages begins at $400 and an online store at $800. Contractors and associations that need capability, past-performance and member pages usually fit the bespoke 6 to 15 page range of $700 to $900. The calculator gives you a figure in about a minute, and we confirm a fixed dollar quote in writing, which suits fixed-price budgets.

We are a government contractor. What should our website include?

What a contracting officer or prime looks for in the first minute: core capabilities, NAICS codes, certifications such as 8(a) or HUBZone if you hold them, UEI and CAGE codes, past performance by agency, and a named contact for teaming. With 663,300 government jobs in the metro, evaluators see a lot of contractor sites, so clarity wins.

Does DC have a privacy law our website must follow?

The District has no comprehensive privacy law, but Virginia's and Maryland's cover much of the metro. Virginia's applies from 100,000 consumers a year and Maryland's from 35,000, or fewer if you earn from selling data. Many small firms are below both, so we build consent and opt-out controls that are ready as you grow, and your counsel confirms what applies.

Do we need Section 508 compliance?

If you sell technology to federal agencies, expect to. Section 508 requires the ICT agencies buy to be accessible, and solicitations ask for an Accessibility Conformance Report for each item. Your own marketing site is not usually the item being bought, but evaluators notice when it fails basic accessibility. We build every site to WCAG 2.2 AA and document the tests.

Can you build a site for an association or nonprofit?

Yes. Membership, advocacy and trade groups need sites that carry events, member content, donations and policy papers at once. We build accessible publication pages, member areas and donation flows, and we tag PDFs properly or replace them with HTML so every reader can use them.

Do you have a DC office?

No. We do not have a Washington DC office, and we will not borrow a K Street address to look local. Projects run in writing through a shared board, written replies within one working day and a staging link you can review every week.
